Peak District

Over the years I have driven past the Peak District many times without really knowning what I was missing on my way up to Yorkshire or the Lake District.
The Peak District is a visually stunning place with rugged heather clad moorland of the Dark Peak, to the gently rolling dales of the White Peak.  I spent most of my time around Buxton getting up close and personal with The Roaches, and watching fools hanging off Stanage Edge on a bit of rope.

My top shots from the visit
